About eduKALB
eduKALB seeks to bring quality school board leadership to DeKalb County. More than 100,000 students attend some 140 schools in the county. The success and achievement of our county’s school district begin with the members of the Board of Education and Superintendent.
Likewise the business community relies on the reputation of the school district to attract businesses and families to our community. eduKALB seeks to promote quality and sound school board leadership in DeKalb County. Through candidate forums, interviews, surveys, trainings, and voter education, eduKalb aims to promote school board leadership through the election of highly qualified school board members.
During election cycles, eduKALB's Board advocates for credible and competent candidates who will provide effective governance to the DeKalb County School District. The organization will endorse a slate of candidates beginning with the November 6, 2012 General Election. eduKALB will host various forums and seminars to educate the public regarding the roles and responsibilities of school board members and potential candidates
on sound governing principles.
The eduKALB Board is comprised of business, civic, government and community stakeholders representing DeKalb's diversity. These citizens are committed to public education and the role it plays in shaping the workforce of tomorrow.
